"I fell in love with clay in 1973 and my passion for it has only grown. In today's fast-paced world, I find pottery and all handmade objects even more central to our wholeness of being. The use of handmade objects brings a ritual into our lives which has been lost in the rush of contemporary times.

For our family, cooking good food and sharing it with loved ones always brings pleasure and meaning into our home. Hot tea in a favorite mug, or fresh fruit from a lovely bowl made by a friend provides elegance and fond memories — everyday. Using these objects gives us a moment to reflect on the richness of handmade things, the people who make them, and the beauty they bring to us all.

Directions from Blue Hill, ME:

Take Rt 15/176 southwest (toward Deer Isle) four miles to stop sign.
Go straight across intersection onto Rope Ferry Rd.
At bottom of the hill pass the mailboxes and continue past "private road" sign.
Turn into 6th driveway on the right.(yellow sign "Kane Lewis Kane")

For your safety PLEASE OBSERVE 10 MPH on private road. It is narrow and winding.
